alot has happened this month.. from the FOP to national day to relief teaching to assignments to football games..

so many things.. staring from the first thing that happened this month.. the relief teaching.. got to meet a few new friends while doing relief at OSS.. like gracies and nicole and christabel.. christabel's jonathan's sister.. my goodness.. and i met andy's brother.. so different.. nicole's the MOE scholar while gracies the home econs teacher previously at St Theresa.. also got to know some of the students.. fun batch of.. ya.. makes me feel like teaching more.. still waiting for the reply.. somehow i kinda know the results..

then there was national day.. the family outing.. i remembered that i just wanted to leave the house that day even though i was about half an hour late to meet the rest.. still managed to catch up with them.. walk till hort park.. nice scenary there.. had lunch at botak jones.. play street soccer with alvin and dave before heading to vic's place to watch the NDP.. somehow NDP doesn't excit me anymore.. it's the same old thing..

next highlight was the match against SACC.. that day i also had a mission trip meeting at funan.. i went down to meet those guys.. really glad to have seen them again.. everyone's getting busy with school now.. wanted to go play the entire second half but managed to reach about half way through the second half.. was effective thou.. scored a goal and half 1 or 2 clear chances.. either i wasn't confident of using the weaker foot or i just got faked by the keeper.. i though he was coming out to catch the ball but he stepped back and i did not go forward.. learnt from that and the next chance was similiar to the first.. this time with the knowledge that the keeper doesn't come out.. the outcome was different.. ironically thou.. ilango seemed alot happier than me when i scored.. lolx.. for a short 20 mins i had 3 goal scoring chances many of which were put through by the midfielders.. also.. RJ took nearly 200 pictures of that match..

there was this incident where this man came up to me and asked for directions to woodlands around church area.. somehow i had this urge to pass him money and to buy dinner for him.. looking back.. i can safely say it was God's prompting.. a chance that i had let slip by.. how do i know it was God sent? i cant explain but you'll know what it comes.. and i hope i realise it earlier and not let any more chances slip by..

other than the above highlights.. had a few assignments to hand in which i think were so-so.. have a test as well as another assignment to be handed in next friday.. hectic week.. also RJ's having her prelims now.. time she concentrates on her studies more..

till next month.. or when i remember what else to write about.. remember to do great things as if they were little and do little things as if they were great..

Festival of Praise

i'm quite surprised many still don't know what FOP is.. it's been in singapore for 23 years.. but there's a new band - parachute band.. new songs.. but i think the message was more important.. below are the points:-

1. Peace (of God, With God and with others)
2. Encouragement (reminds me of matt's sharing on the previous sunday..)
3. Comfort (to comfort fellow brothers and sisters)
4. Fear of God (to remember God is with us..)

i feel that there things will help me as a teacher.. it's the perfect way for me to share His word.. but it's still up to God.. in His time..
