June 2012 was suppose to be high profile.. It was indeed..
Things kicked off in the second week really.. After clearing work early on.. Started off with a friend's baby first month.. Small and cute really.. Maybe I'll post some pictures later.. On the same day was a friend's 21st birthday at some ulu place (hume avenue area).. Her sister reminds me of Brenda really but that's another story..
Sorted out my accommodation on Tuesday morning (i.e. 2am) which was not a good idea.. Then had to wake up on 7am to meet the rest (9 days in M'sia!!) Enjoyed my time at Malacca, Hotel Puri.. With the good food and company.. Nothing else much to ask for.. The highlight was the Peranakan Nite which everyone knows by now.. Not enough pictures really (disappointed but 1000++ is still okie).. I would not say much here cause most of it is in my memory.. :)..
So here's the crunch part.. When to Philea Resort (a cabin type of resort which many have seen the pictures as well).. Nice and cosy and quite expensive.. Was planning to head to Port Dickson and booked a hotel with that name.. Turns out it was only 1km away from Hotel Puri (which retard names the place away from the original place??).. So what happened was I gatecrashed a friend and went to Golden Palm Resort instead.. Nice place but really nothing much to do as well.. Had nice people so it was not that bad..
On the way to Avillion Admiral Cove we stopped for some dragon fruit.. And guess what.. We met a guy who was heading to Port Dickson!! (We were driving along the small roads so it was tough to navigate especially when there's no GPS).. Thank God I managed to reach my destination..
My verdict?? Hotel Puri was the best simply cause of the company!! :) Got to plan for a road trip soon.. Anyone??
Next was the company's dragonboat competition.. Yes you read correctly "Dragonboat".. It was only about 3 hours long?? In the end we won so it didn't matter (even with the saboteurs)..
Had a thanksgiving dinner at PeraMakan.. Nice place!! and Nice Food!! Nice price as well.. :).. Thanks again.. And I really like the "family portrait".. At least my camera did not go to waste..
IPPT was next.. Actually IPT.. Long story but I managed to get into the IPT (lower standard to clear IPPT obligations).. I could afford to walk during the 2.4 km run (low right??) Does not really matter as long as the obligation is settled..
Later that afternoon I was suppose to join a game of captain's ball.. I did actually (as the catcher cause can slack).. I took my IPPT in the morning ma.. Not a good choice cause I ended up running around.. Plus I was suppose to have dinner and milkshake (I did go).. But in a not so fresh set of clothes.. Did not matter since the company was good.. Was out the whole of Sunday as well but I'll leave it to next month..
Till then.. I pray for God to answer my prayers!!
